A search for direct production of first generation scalar leptoquark is performed with 3.89 fb−1 of data collected by the DØ detector at the Tevatron at √ s = 1.96 TeV. At the channel LQLQ→ eqνeq, no significant excess of data over background is observed, adn we set a 95% CL limit of 296 GeV on leptoquark mass for β = 0.5.
